Back in 2008, Natasha Hunt was a school teacher from Lewes going to her local gym to try and get fit. A chance discussion with trainer Rob Parsons launched her into one of the most ambitious and challenging projects imaginable - can a member of the public, with no previous sporting pedigree, qualify for the 2012 Olympics in London?
Natasha spent 2008 training to get a fitness level to enable her to compete. But what sport to choose? Natasha was keen horsewoman and her frame and height is ideal for fencing and swimming. The obvious choice was Modern Pentathlon, a combination of show jumping, swimming, fencing, running and shooting - all in a one day long event.
Then the training really began...
